Peabody Energy – ‘Lights On Project’ Social Media Campaign
Prior to the G20 Summit, Obata worked closely with Peabody Energy developing a hashtag campaign to leverage social media advertising and video content urging world leaders to fight energy poverty. The goal of the advocacy campaign was to raise awareness that 3.5 billion people lack proper energy access. To shed light on the issue, Obata developed the name ”Lights On Project” and logo to reinforce the positive aspect of energy access. We delivered multiple social media ads directing traffic to a video that Obata produced to tell a deeper story of the Lights On Project.
